In order to keep our prices as low as possible we only sell direct and our website shop is only available for deliveries in the UK. We are sometimes asked if we can give the contact details of customers that we sell to, however that would be breaking privacy laws and we are unable to do that.
We sell all of our online products in packs of 75 metres. This is done in order to make our system streamlined and to keep our prices as low as possible. We therefore are not able to split packs as it would make our warehouse unmanageable as we have many hundreds of products. The majority of our clients are business to business and buy thousands of metres at a time, however we do make ourselves available to all clients as long as they buy complete 75 metre packs.
The cut-off time for orders placed on our online shop is by 4pm on a working day. If the item is in stock the checkout page will show you the 'delivery by' date which currently is up to 2 working days. However deliveries to certain postcodes will take longer and this information will be shown on the checkout page when the required postcode is entered.
We are able to send pre-cut samples free of charge of any product on our on-line shop. Samples are approximately 10-15cm long. If you would like samples just send us an email letting us know the product codes/descriptions and your name and address. Our email is [email protected]. Samples are sent out by Royal Mail.
If you order using our online shop you will receive a VAT invoice within 2 clear working days of the order being placed. For pro forma orders you will also receive a VAT invoice within 2 clear working days of payment being received.
No, we do not have a minimum spend. However you have to buy complete 75 metre packs.
If you buy 10 of our standard 75 metre packs of the same product code in one order then you would get an extra 2 packs free of charge. Therefore if you buy 750 metres you would receive 900 metres of the same product.
When using our online shop just add the required number of packs into the basket. The delivery cost for mainland Britain will then be displayed. However the actual delivery price depends upon the location of the delivery address, and will be displayed when the delivery postcode is entered during the checkout process.

If the goods are in stock they will be despatched, and if the goods are out of stock they need to be manufactured so a longer 'delivery by' date will be displayed.

The process of manufacturing a plastic extrusion consists of converting raw material into a specific shape by forcing the melted raw material through a die under controlled conditions. In broad terms, plastic extrusions are made by being continuously pushed out through a tool of the desired shape, such as an angle trim or flat edging strip. A plastic extrusion is sometimes referred to as a plastic profile or section.

The best way to cut plastic profiles is with a fine-toothed rotary saw. This gives a neater cut than using a wide-toothed saw as it reduces burred and jagged edges. The more teeth on the saw the better the cut. If you are wanting to fix plastic profiles to a surface you may need to cut it to the required length first. It depends on the shape and type of the plastic profile. There are three main methods of fixing extrusions into position. These are self-adhesive tape, glue and mechanical fixing such as rivets or screws. There is no limit to the length that can be extruded. However for transportation reasons we extrude rigid material products up to 6 metres in length as part of a custom order which has a minimum value.
We define custom plastic extrusion as being a profile that is not included in our stock range. For example, it may be that you require a different shape, a colour other than black or white, or a plastic material that is not PVC. Prices for custom extrusions vary hugely depending on the size of the profile. If you send us a drawing of your design with dimensions we will provide you with a quote. The drawing can either be in electronic form or a sketch. Alternatively we can quote without a drawing if you send us a sample of your existing product. Please remember that for us to make your design you must be sure that there is no existing copyright or the rights are held by yourselves.

Stock products can be manufactured in colours other than our standard white or black. However this would make it a custom order which means there is a minimum meterage requirement. This depends on the size of the profile but 1500 metres is the average minimum.
For custom production we can manufacture in any colour and we offer a range of standard colours. We can match to RAL or Pantone numbers and also provide a colour matching service if you send us a sample of an existing product that you would like to match.

Many of our customers use PVC Angle Trim for corner protection purposes. This product is a 90 degree right angle and is available with both equal and unequal legs. Sizes of White PVC Angle Trim and Black PVC Angle Trim range from 5mm to 100mm.

It is generally thought that plastic tube and plastic pipe are the same thing. These words are often used interchangeably, because tubes and pipes are both long hollow cylinders. But they are actually quite different. There is an important but often misunderstood difference between tube and pipe. Is PVC flexible or rigid? The majority of our stock plastic profiles are manufactured from rigid PVC but we also offer some profiles in flexible PVC. These two materials are quite different and we offer free samples so you can see the difference. Rigid PVC is rigid like a ruler, depending on the profile it may flex over a 3 metre length, and it is sold as 25 x 3 metre lengths. Flexible PVC is soft, you could put it around your waist like a belt, and it is sold as 3 x 25 metre coils.
PVC is short for PolyVinyl Chloride and comes in two main forms: rigid and flexible. To give it a flexible nature, plasticisers can be added to PVC, resulting in flexible PVC. On the other hand, rigid PVC does not have added plasticisers. The 'u' in 'uPVC' stands for unplasticised and it retains rigidity. In the double-glazing and window industries, additional stabilisers are often added to the uPVC plastic, which are not used in our uPVC profiles.
