For custom profile projects, the process usually starts with a drawing, sketch or technical specification. Based on this information, we can review the profile requirements and advise on what is technically possible within our extrusion process.
Rather than offering a full design service, MKM Extrusions manufactures profiles to the customer’s specification. This may include advice on material options and any secondary finishing requirements.
If the project is suitable for production, we will prepare a quotation. Once approved by the client, tooling can be produced and manufacturing begins in our UK factory. Custom production typically starts from 2,000 metres, depending on the profile size, this is included in the quotation.
