H section joining strips 18mm can be used to join panels which are have a thickness of 18mm. H section joining strips 18mm has two equal legs and an unequal version is also available. We use external grade rigid PVC material to manufacture high quality plastic H trim in our UK factory.

This profile is shaped like a capital H which is where it gets its name, and a section is another name for an extrusion. H section joining strips are commonly used as a plastic joining strip for hardboard, glass, partitions and other types of panel.
The first dimension is the depth of the board you are inserting into the trim, the second dimension is the external width of both legs, and the third dimension is the thickness. An example is H Section 10mm x 20mm x 1.5mm which is designed for hardboard of 10mm with external legs of 20mm and a thickness of 1.5mm.
We offer three different types of plastic H section trims:
Equal plastic H trim has both external legs being the same dimension.
Unequal plastic H trim has one external leg or flange longer than the other which offers greater support.
Interlocking plastic H trim is a two-part design consisting of a base trim and a top trim which results in a plastic H trim when they are used together.
