Plastic angle trim product range

MKM Extrusions offers a huge range of plastic angle trim with many sizes ranging from 5mm to 100mm. So whether you are looking for a black or white plastic angle, equal or unequal plastic angle trim, we hope to be able to help. Our Plastic angle trim is made of rigid PVC and is sold in 75 metre packs with 25 X 3 metre lengths in each pack. Among other sizes, it is available in 10mm, 20mm, 25mm, 50mm and 100mm. Besides plastic angle trims, we also manufacture and stock flat strips, plastic channels, plastic square tubing and many different shapes of plastic extruded profiles.

Plastic angle sizes

Plastic angle trim is an L shaped profile, it is available in both equal and unequal leg sizes. Popular sizes include 10mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 50mm and 100mm with plenty of other sizes widely available. Often used for corner protection and edge trimming. Each pack of PVC angle trim contains 25 lengths of 3 metres, totalling 75 metres.

Plastic angle trims in different colours

Our plastic angle trim is sold on our online shop in 75 metre packs in the colours white and black, as they are the most popular colours for this type of trim. We do not sell our 75 metre packs of plastic angle trims in other colours because we have a huge product range and there are unlimited colour variations. But if you require a different colour it may be possible for us to do this as custom plastic extrusion, we can match to RAL or Pantone numbers and also provide a colour matching service.
There is an extra charge for the colour and a much larger meterage is required. This is quoted upon request and depends on the size of the PVC angle trim, but the average is 2000 metres.

White plastic angle trim

We have 45 different sizes of white plastic angle trim, in sizes as small as 5mm going up to the largest at 100mm. Short pre-cut samples of white plastic corner trim are available upon request which are then posted to you. These samples allow you to check the colour and dimensions of the profile and check for suitability before placing a larger order.

This white corner trim is used by many different sectors on both internal and external corners. White PVC corner trim can provide edge and corner protection, as well as being a solution to hiding damaged or uneven surfaces. It is often used in sectors such as sign-making, fitout projects, retail installations and exhibition stands but is also widely used in many other industries.

We manufacture white plastic angle trim in our British factory and we have processes in place to get these PVC angles to you as quickly as possible at a competitive price. All white PVC angle trims are produced under the BS ISO 9001:2015 quality standard.

Black 90 degree PVC trim

Black plastic angle trim is also available in 45 sizes, with both equal and unequal legs. They are often used for darker situations or when the profile is not visible such as underground or behind panels. Black PVC angle trim is often used for the same purposes as white plastic angle trim.

Black PVC angle trim offers a range of solutions, including covering edges, hiding gaps and corner protection. Let us know if you are unsure which size to choose and we can post you some samples to help you decide. Both the white and black plastic trim are manufactured in accordance with the British Quality Standard ISO 9001:2015 and the British Environment Standard ISO 14001: 2015. This gives consistent quality and environmental compliance across our full plastic angle trim range.

Plastic angle trim in different dimensions

Our rigid PVC angle trim is manufactured and stocked in many dimensions, but if you can’t find the exact size required, a custom option may be available. MKM Extrusions can manufacture plastic angle trims to your specified leg size and thickness. However this service is only suitable for larger quantities averaging at 2000 metres, and there would be a tooling charge. Please enquire with your required size and we will let you know the minimum production meterage. If you require a small amount it may be worth contacting a plastic fabrication company that could fold a PVC sheet to your exact requirements.

Unequal plastic angle trim explained

Unequal plastic angle trim has two legs of different lengths, which gives extra coverage on one side. An example would be 50mm x 25mm x 1.5mm where the longer leg offers twice the surface coverage. We also supply equal angle trims when both sides need the same dimensions.

Equal plastic angle trim explained

Equal plastic angle trims have two legs of identical length. This profile provides balanced edge protection and is the most widely used option. The smallest equal size is 5mm and the largest 100mm, with many intermediate sizes available. For applications requiring asymmetry or deeper coverage, our unequal PVC angle trims are a practical alternative.

Is a plastic angle trim the same as a PVC angle trim?

Yes. The term “plastic angle trim” usually refers to the same rigid PVC profile, as PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) is the material we use to manufacture these right-angled trims. It is durable, lightweight and easy to cut. All MKM Extrusions our angle trims are made from external grade rigid PVC, making the profile suitable for indoor and outdoor environments. If a different polymer is required, we can discuss alternative materials as part of a custom extrusion project, typically with a minimum order of 2000 metres.

Where can our 90 degree PVC angle trim be used?

Our 90-degree PVC angle trims are used in a wide variety of settings, both indoors and outdoors, as they are manufactured from an external grade of unplasticised PVC (uPVC) material. There are no added plasticisers, giving resistance to UV light and weathering. They are often used on corners, edges and surfaces that require extra protection or a smooth finish. For more information about PVC and uPVC differences, visit our PVC vs uPVC guide.

How to fix a Plastic angle trim

There are several methods on how to fix plastic angle trim: self-adhesive tape, glue and mechanical fixing. The best fixing method depends on the surface material and environment. Adhesive tape is often used for smooth indoor surfaces, while mechanical fixings provide extra hold outdoors. In some instances glue may be the best solution. However every situation is different and we advise you to take advice from an adhesive specialist. Requesting short samples from us may allow you to test your preferred fixing method before purchasing.
Our plastic angle trim comes as 25 x 3 metre lengths, which is a 75 metres per pack. For shorter applications, the trim can be cut to size using a fine-toothed saw.

Who uses PVC plastic angles?

Our PVC plastic angles are used across many industries mainly for cosmetic and finishing purposes. Typical sectors include construction, signage, interior fit-out, architecture, vehicle interiors and shopfitting. Because the trims form a 90-degree angle, they are ideal for protecting corners, covering gaps or concealing rough edges.

Using a plastic angle as a corner trim

Plastic corner trim is often used to protect corners of walls from damage in a variety of settings including hospitals, schools, care homes and offices. Anywhere where people or objects are moving, leading to potential harm for hard surfaces.
Our PVC corner trim is also used in other settings where 90-degree corners or edges need protection or existing damage needs to be covered up. This could include sectors such as sign makers, exhibition stands, packaging and transport plus many more.
As well as covering damage, corner trim can cover unsightly gaps. These profiles are high quality and will provide a professional finish to your project

Using angled plastic for edging

Plastic edging comes in several styles including flat bar strips, plastic lipping, plastic channels, plastic angle trim, plastic J channels and capping. Each profile design serves a slightly different purpose. For example, flat strips offer a simple edge cover, while plastic U channels have straight sides, and Plastic J channels and plastic capping provide a hooked finish.

Manufacturing plastic angle trim

Every MKM Extrusions plastic angle trim is extruded in our UK factory. We produce high-quality rigid PVC angles and are accredited with BS ISO 9001:2015 for quality and BS ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management. Each extrusion run is monitored to maintain dimensional accuracy and a quality finish.

Manufactured in the UK

We manufacture PVC angle trim in our UK factory and are a member of the Made In Britain organisation, helping customers identify genuine UK-made products. Because we sell directly from our factory rather than through stockists, we maintain fair pricing and reliable lead times across all orders.

Plastic angle trims accredited by British ISO standards

We have been accredited with two British Standards for many years and are inspected annually by external auditors. We hold both BS ISO 9001:2015 (Quality) and BS ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental). These accreditations confirm that every PVC angle trim is produced under controlled, sustainable manufacturing processes.

The production process of plastic angle trims

Plastic angle trim is manufactured through an extrusion process in which heated PVC compound is forced through a die shaped to the required profile. As the molten plastic exits the die, it is cooled in water baths before being cut into 3 metre lengths. This ensures each trim keeps its precise 90-degree angle.

The PVC we use for our rigid plastic angle trims

Our plastic angle trims are made using external grade rigid PVC, suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Choosing the right plastic angle trim

There are several factors to consider when choosing the right plastic angle trim. Probably the most important is the dimensions of the two legs of the angle trim. Other factors are the thickness of the product, if you would like the legs to be equal or unequal in length, and the colour you require.

Our standard 75-metre packs are available in white and black. Other colours can be made as a custom extrusion, requiring a larger run of around 2000 metres depending on size. We can also offer RAL or Pantone colour matching on request for custom production runs.

Why choose our plastic L trim?

At MKM Extrusions, we produce high-quality plastic L trims, also known as plastic angles or PVC angle trims. They are precision made in the UK and are used for a wide range of corner, edging and protection applications across many industries. To help you select the right product, we offer a free sample service and straightforward online ordering.

Do we offer discount on plastic angles?

We offer a multi-pack discount. If you buy 10 of our standard 75 metre packs of the same product code in one order then you would get an extra 2 packs free of charge. Therefore if you buy 750 metres you would receive 900 metres of the same product. This is a 20% discount and it is automatically applied at checkout on our online shop.
