The reason this profile is called T section is because it looks like the capital letter T. The first measurement of the T section trim is the external width of the top. The smallest in the range is 13mm and the largest is 100mm. The second measurement is the straight stem which starts from midway along the top of the profile. The length of this stem varies between 8mm and 50mm. Plastic T section has a flat top with straight edges and smooth legs.

Straight T Sections have flat tops and a straight stem, allowing them to be inserted into gaps. Also in our rigid PVC stock range are T Barbs Flat Top and T Barbs Convex Top. T Barbs have a barbed stem instead of a straight stem, the barbs provide more grip than the straight stem.
